KinderJam partners in Fairfax County Public School's Junior Achievement Day

Junior Achievement (JA) volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential. With the help of more than 213,000 volunteers, JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st century global marketplace.
KinderJam Founder named National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Greater DC 2015 Woman of Distinction

The Woman of Distinction award recognizes women in the greater DC area who demonstrate innovation in business, show strong support for women business owners, and promote and enable the women’s business environment. The NAWBO Greater DC chapter recognized El Brown, Gwen McKinney, and Kristina Bouweiri as 2015 Woman of Distinction Finalists. On June 3, the 2015 Woman of Distinction Award was presented to El Brown of KinderJam®!
KinderJam travels to Africa and serves the children of Nairobi, Kenya

KinderJam Founder, El Brown launched a community service effort in Nairobi, Kenya. In March of 2015, Brown traveled to Africa to spread the message of Literacy and Movement with the children of the Cheery Children Education Centre (CCEC) located in the heart of the Kibera slum. While there, a KinderJam Early Literacy and Movement session was facilitated for the children. Additionally, Brown spearheaded a stateside book drive and fundraising effort, resulting in the construction of the Cheery Center's new school library and the purchase of textbooks and school supplies.

On Friday, February 27th at the ABC Studios in New York City, El Brown taped a segment of the Dr. Oz show about her amazing journey to transform her health and the programs she has developed to teach, inspire, and encourage others to do the same.
KinderJam Founder receives the American Heart Association's Lifestyle Change Award

On Saturday, Nov. 8th at the National Mall before the The American Heart Association’s Greater Washington Heart Walk, El Brown was honored with the 2014 Lifestyle Change Award! The American Heart Association "Lifestyle Change Award” recognizes individuals who’ve made positive lifestyle changes to live longer, healthier lives and encouraged and motivated other to do the same.
KinderJam is Coming to Fairfax County
