I once heard that parenting is like learning to change a tire on a moving car.

Well, if that is the case then learning to parent a child with disabilities without support is like learning to change a tire on a moving car, while on a busy expressway, blindfolded, without a jack and a tire iron - a near-impossible struggle. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

The goal of this book is to slow down the traffic, take off your blindfold, give you the tools, and show you how to use them…all while never leaving your side because I’m your Hip Pocket Girl. I’ve traveled the journey, I’ve done the work, and I have made a path to ease your way.
